2009 - 2014 : Believe to Behold

With the ancient Mayan calendar scheduled to end on Dec 21 2012, many people are speculating that a planetary alignment, which is due to take place on that date, will alter the world as we know it in dramatic and devastating ways. Reverend Jack Alexander, a muralist, visionary artist and professional faux-finisher, has a more upbeat viewpoint. Born seeing auras (the electro-magnetic energy that emanates from and surrounds all animate and inanimate objects), he came into the world with a vivid recollection of his former "Home World" This is the landscape he depicts in his paintings. It is a place of two suns and three moons that Jack knows he came from and says he is going to return to at the end of this lifetime.

In 1976, Jack suffered a near-death experience when he accidentally drove his motorcycle off a cliff in Northern California. In the 2 hours and 56 minutes, during which he was pronounced "dead" by the medical team at the hospital, he revisited this Home World and spent 155 years there. Upon returning to earthly consciousness and taking his first breath again back into his physical body, he sat straight up to find himself in the morgue with an orderly zipping him up in a body bag. There is no doubt in Jack's being and reality that Home World is the place we are evolving into as Earth, a living entity and our planetary home, shifts and changes in a normal and natural progression.

“Any natural occurring events that are due to take place between the years 2009 and 2014," he says, "are going to bring us closer as a civilization to a paradise existence. People on a pathway of greed and divisiveness, those who are not ready and willling to let go of outworn ideologies and to instead embrace the change necessary for us to have a usage-based economy, are not going to be able to withstand the transformations that will be taking place. But for those who are able to flow with the progression, this will be an extremely exciting time to be alive.”
